About

Welcome to my corner of the web! I’m a proud dad who finds endless joy in the wonderful chaos of family life. From swimming in lakes to bedtime stories, being a dad has been the most rewarding role I’ve ever taken on. I cherish every moment spent with my family, and it’s their laughter and love that motivate me in all aspects of life.

Tech has always had a special place in my heart. I’m that guy who can’t wait to get his hands on the latest gadgets, explore cutting-edge software, and indulge in the endless possibilities of the digital world. It’s not just a hobby; it’s a passion that fuels my curiosity every day. Whether it’s diving into the intricacies of the latest smartphones or experimenting with emerging technologies, I’m always eager to stay at the forefront of innovation.

With a solid foundation in network and project management, I spent four years working as a Network and Project Manager for Lancashire County Council. During this time, I honed my skills in overseeing complex projects, ensuring efficient network operations, and managing teams to deliver outstanding results. This experience has instilled in me the importance of meticulous planning, effective communication, and adaptability in the ever-evolving landscape of technology and government administration.

As a software developer, I’ve had the privilege of turning ideas into reality through lines of code. My primary focus has been on web development, specialising in languages like C# and Python. I’ve spent countless hours designing and crafting user-friendly web applications that provide solutions and enhance user experiences. The thrill of writing code and seeing it come to life is what keeps me hooked on this fascinating journey.

Currently, I’m embracing another exciting role – that of a teacher. I’m part of an affiliate university of Lancaster University, where I get to share my knowledge and experience with eager minds. Guiding future tech enthusiasts and helping them nurture their passion for technology is incredibly rewarding. It’s a privilege to inspire the next generation of software engineers and project managers, imparting not only technical knowledge but also the problem-solving mindset and adaptability required to thrive in the dynamic world of IT.

This website is my way of sharing the ups and downs, the challenges and triumphs, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Whether you’re a fellow tech enthusiast, a parent looking for advice, or just curious about the world of software development and project management, I invite you to explore, connect, and join me on this delightful journey through life’s many adventures. Together, we can explore the fascinating intersection of technology, family, and personal growth.
